General Agreement on Trade in Services
This portal features the notification obligations under the GATS Agreement as highlighted in CRN's semi-annual calls and reminders.
Information on the full range of GATS notification obligations can be found under the "Notification requirements" tab of this portal. For an overview on Members' GATS notifications, please see the most recent GATS statistical note (JOB(09)/10/REV.12).
The information pertaining to GATS notifications available on this portal is presented for transparency purposes and is not indicative of any Member's compliance with the notification obligations of the Agreement, save for the obligations under GATS Articles III:4 and IV:2.

Each Member is required to have notified any existing Article VII:1 recognition measures, and acceded Members are required to notify any such measures within 12 months of their accession (reflected in the grey-shaded cells below). Members are under an on-going obligation to inform the Council for Trade in Services of: i) the opening of negotiations on a recognition agreement or arrangement; ii) the adoption of new recognition measures or the significant modification of existing ones. In the absence of such measures, no notification is required.
